Sidewalk tool creates a linear element with properties that control its material and grading characteristics. As you click to place the object, points with radius properties are created. These points act as intersections of tangent sides or PI's. This makes it easy to place independent Sidewalks then edit the point and segment properties to model your concept without complicated design settings.

Placing a Sidewalk

1. Select the Sidewalk icon from the Pathway section of the Site Layout tab.
2. Select Method and Feature Definition from the Place Sidewalk dialog or from the context menu at the cursor.
3. Datapoint(left click) to accept the selection.
4. Datapoint(left click) to place PI's for the Sidewalk. Reset(right click) when finished.
